Job Description:
This Oregon construction company is responsible for building the greenest and most architecturally unique buildings in and around Portland.? With over 180 employees and strong growth forecasts, this established company is looking for a Payroll Specialist with industry-experience to join their team.? You'll process the manual payroll for employees at all levels, from executives to site workers, applying the highest level of confidentiality in making sure every payment is processed on time and accurately.? Organization and precise data tracking and entry are critical to your success in this role, and you'll be expected to provide detailed reports of payroll data for internal use, government reporting and job costing.? You should be calm and accommodating as you interact with staff, answering questions and relaying necessary information relating to all payroll issues.? Additionally, you'll process and track all wage garnishments, 401(k) deductions, quarterly payroll taxes, bonus checks, and take on certain responsibilities relating to benefits administration, including FMLA leave.
