RUGBY at Calabazas Park!? Santa Clara Youth Rugby is currently looking for boy and girl athletes ages 7-12.? Our certified coaches teach the fundementals of rugby while having fun and staying safe.? Rugby is a contact sport that incorporates skills similar to that of football, basketball, and soccer.? This winter sport season typically runs from January through March, it is a great way to stay fit for upcoming spring sports.? There is also an abbreviated summer "7s" season, (appearing in the 2016 summer Olympics).
Matches take place typically on Sundays, with the occasional match on Saturday.? Thursday night rugby practice is for our 10U-12U and 8U play non-contact touch rugby and practice on Sundays before the matches.? The season has started, but there's still time!
