Apple unveils its faster and cheaper iPhones.
The company, which has become too big for just one type of phone, will be releasing three versions of the iPhone 5.
One of the new models will be a cheaper phone aimed at less wealthy countries where new Apple phones have been out of reach of the general consumer because of the high price.
The lower cost model, the iPhone 5C will come in a lighter plastic case but has the same features as the now-discontinued iPhone 5.
However, analysts are concerned the price is stil not low enough.
The iPhone 5C will cost US $550, far higher than the range of $300 to $400 that the analysts thought could help Apple against their lower-cost Android competitors.
The fancier model, the iPhone 5S, is housed in an aluminium container and will offer a fingerprint sensor for security, amongst other features.
The fingerprint scanner will allow the phone owner to touch the pad to bypass the phone's lock screen.
Both iPhones will be available in most countries by September 20th.
